Issue:
NOTE: Also happens without Artifact Bug
There appears to be a severe gameplay desynchronization bug affecting multiple activities across the game. The issue seems to occur after extended continuous play without returning to orbit or fast traveling.
When the bug occurs, several gameplay systems stop functioning correctly at the same time.
Observed Symptoms:
• Healing and survivability perks stop activating (Devour, Cure, Restoration, Overshields, etc.).
• Debuffs fail to apply to enemies (Slow and other status effects).
• Glaives stop generating shield energy from projectile hits.
• Weapons frequently become invisible when swapping to them.
• Abilities and actions that normally trigger third-person animations (Finishers, Rifts, etc.) remain in first-person and play no animation.
• Activity mechanics can stop functioning correctly. For example, in Sundered Doctrine, lenses may fail to activate wheels when aimed correctly.
• Projectiles and tracers appear to originate from previous player locations instead of the player's current position. In some cases, rockets and other projectiles are visibly launched from locations occupied several seconds or even minutes earlier.
Activities Where Observed:
• Dungeons
• Raids
• The Pale Heart
• Lost Sectors
Frequency:
Very frequent. In my experience it can be reproduced consistently after extended gameplay sessions, especially during longer activities without returning to orbit.
Possible Reproduction Steps:
Launch a long-form activity (Dungeon, Raid, etc.).
Continue playing without returning to orbit or fast traveling.
Progress through multiple encounters or waves.
Observe abilities, perks, animations, and projectile origins.
Expected Result:
Perks, abilities, animations, projectiles, and activity mechanics should function normally throughout the session.
Actual Result:
Multiple gameplay systems fail simultaneously, resulting in broken mechanics, missing animations, incorrect projectile origins, and non-functional perks and abilities. Make impossible to play any activity.

We’ve seen similar reports of issues during extended play sessions where weapons can disappear and activity progression can start breaking down, so the behavior you’re describing does sound worth investigating.
