Account got hacked and recovered yet somenone else is still able to access my destiny account
Hey can somenone please help me? My email got hacked (which has been resolved) afterwards i got all my accounts back, however somehow someone is still playing on my account a month later. So i started looking into it. the only thing i can think of is that they linked an xbox account to my bungie account which i can't unlink for some reason??? Help would be appreciated.

Hey there, Thanks for reaching out. I'm sorry to hear your Destiny account has been compromised. To confirm what viiTactiiCzz said below, unfortunately, unlinking platform accounts is no longer possible as of March 2025. We do not forcibly unlink accounts under any circumstances. Account security is up to each player, and we encourage players to secure their game accounts by following our [url=https://help.bungie.net/articles/360048721292]Account Security Guide[/url] so that they don’t have a chance to be compromised.

11 RepliesSorry to say, there is nothing you can do. Bungie will not unlink it under any circumstances, and you cannot unlink it due to 2 reasons - firstly the [url=https://help.bungie.net/hc/en-us/articles/35597981889300-Notice-Bungie-net-Account-Unlinking-Update-on-March-25-2025]March 25th 2025 linking change[/url] removed the ability to unlink anything but Twitch accounts and secondly even if that change hadn't happened you don't have the accounts login information. They will unfortunately have permanent access to your Bungie account and Destiny characters/gear etc
