I’m moving into an actual house and every last cent counts, I have a PS4 and I am a simple man. If I have to cut corners this way I will. What is probably a few of my best options to get cash for a PlayStation I’ve touched less than a dozen times?
I’m gonna be asking for 400$ at that because that’s absolutely more reasonable than what people are gonna get them for from GameStop and other stores right now and still a pretty good chunk of money.
Please give me advice I am not looking for trolls here I am going to be maxing all overtime I can acquire but time is of the essence so I figure this is my best bet for some reasonable cash quickly:/

You will be better off keeping the PS4, most you can get for it by itself is 50 to 100 used. If selling always factory reset to avoid your account and details from being misused also.

If you are selling your ps4 you won't get much for it.

1 ReplyEdited by Dragokin: 4/6/2026 10:06:36 AMI would keep it personally... as I have regretted selling such things and being unable to reacquire them in future inevitably costing more to get that stuff back..... but if you must sell I recommend a local used game store... online has overhead like shipping ECT and no telling if you will get an offer any time soon or scamed... But a local game shop will ensure it gets into someone's hands and then they can enjoy it... But definitely do some shopping around and figure out what cash offer and credit offers different places are going to be wanting depending on the market you might even make more money driving to the next town over for such things... Edit... But most importantly if you're going to sell online and absolutely need cash fast undersell rather than oversell to guarantee a hit but like I said watch out for scams and research your sale prices on actual sales not just posted cost otherwise you'll price yourself out of market suggested price does not mean that's what it actually sells for as a buyer and seller of collectibles that is an important detail.. It's not the most ideal and you might lose some money on the deal overall but if speed is key that's the only way to do it

If you want my honest advice... for economy? Don't sell it. That's how these things cycle through gens... PS4 will fall off... You could still put the PS5 on the shelf until that happens.

Facebook Marketplace would be my suggestion
