My hunter is faster without stompies than my warlock with transverse.
Its batshit crazy.
Really wtf was the reasoning here Bungie.
Ive destroyed team after team on my hunter
But the warlock mobility is absolutely trash without dash or blink.
At least put dash on prismatic

23 RepliesWtf r u talking about Warlocks and Titans move faster than Hunter due to skating. Hunters only strafe faster. How is it possible that the game is this old and ppl still get it wrong
-
6 RepliesWarlock blink is faster than hunters and titans. Triple tap burst is also damn near faster than hunters.
-
Yeah it's not fun on either side when a game is unbalanced.

2 RepliesDisagree with the overall premise, agree Prismatic needs more abilities. They said they intended to expand on Prismatic a while ago, hopefully they follow through with at least one promise. That said, theres multiple mobility abilities that are shared among the classes and it kind of takes away from the unique feel of each class, not heavily, not enough they need to be removed. but, if each class had identical stats, we'd be on the road to -blam!-, class parity, and I for one wouldn't want that. Locks just need some minor tweaks to make their strengths stand out and punch up the viability of some of their builds.

14 RepliesEdited by Griever: 4/1/2026 8:59:51 AMWhy should the lightest armored class not move faster? Hell, unless I forgot a patch somewhere, every class sprints the same speed, just hunters have higher base movement speed. Now add in lightweight weapon bonuses, warlocks and titans having their jump abilities that can literally give them bursts of speed among other abilities like dash and certain melees and now they're ahead in the "race". And hunters are still outrun by other classes. Classes that btw are much better designed for healing/ support and tanking, meaning they generally have better self sustain. Hell, the warlocks even have an ability that makes them more durable than a titan inside a Well and his bubble. How does that make sense? Even during supers that are supposed to make us faster, hunters are still outrun or it's for some reason beyond the understanding of us lesser mortals that they should move faster by spamming light attacks with no regard for energy in a game where a minimum of 40-60% of your melee attacks will do no damage despite getting the visual AND sound effect of hitting, and about half the remainder will be against a titan with ACD Feedback which offers so much resistance to melee attacks that it's able to tank the record so far I've seen being 3 hits from Spectral Blade and survive long enough to win with a glaive. Not even a super will survive that, but those gloves will apparently. Besides, so long as bungie sticks to the "class identities", that's not happening any time soon nor should it. Hunters have higher base movement speed and even if they do actually sprint faster, they don't really see it when warlocks and titans as stated have that constantly available burst of speed through their jump abilities. Warlocks get faster grenade Regen and damage. Titans get faster melee Regen and damage. Hunters just get movement, and you're saying titans and warlocks should get that movement too when they already outrun hunters? Why should the class that can already play the tank as good if not better than the tank also be faster than the rogue which is usually supposed to be faster anyway? If warlocks should be faster than hunters and titans, then hunters should have like +10 more aim assist, a wider aim assist cone, a wider precision aim assist cone, a wider bullet magnetism cone, 10% more weapon accuracy, and 10 more stability as well as 10% more flinch resistance with every gun since "attack precision" is LITERALLY named by Bungie as one of the parts of their class identity. Hunters should also just have +10% extra weapon damage in PvE. Why shouldn't they be more accurate with every gun when precision is literally part of their identity? And titans should get a few summons or something since defense is kind of their thing and would be easier with deployable turrets. Oh look, warlock has those too. Hhhmmm... It feels like some things would probably fit better on other classes... But hey, if you're fine with hunters getting those kinds of buffs, then by all means. I certainly won't say no to all my guns becoming that much more accurate. I wonder how strong a weapon like Thorn for example will be with 95 aim assist and 75 stability, especially if they finally revert the catalyst nerfs from season 22 that are no longer justified in any capacity? Last Word with 50 stability and 50 aim assist? Khovostov with 87 stability and 97 aim assist? I could probably get more consistent 2 burst kills with my Last Thursday since it would have 86 aim assist and 88 stability. And all of that isn't including the other stat bonuses exclusive to hunters. If warlocks and titans should dominate with abilities and movement, hunters should dominate in gunplay.

15 RepliesEdited by Seiryoku: 4/1/2026 3:02:24 AMYou have quit out of the match early every time I've ever played with or against you. No matter what class you're on. It ruins the integrity of the whole match from that point on. And because the population is so low you often get match-made back in. This only makes the experience worse for everyone. And NotCreative is correct about class speed.

23 RepliesLol what are you on mate hunters are slower than titans and warlocks buddy

2 RepliesLots of hunter downvotes. Mmmm

3 RepliesI think instead they should focus each class into their original stats more. All classes have tier 10 resilience and tier 7 recovery by default but Titans and Warlocks get tier 3 mobility while Hunters get tier 10 There's also the secondary bonus each class gets. Titans get +10% pve base melee damage bonus (Base means no charged melees. Stuff like knockout and all that aren't buffed either) Warlocks get 5% extra grenade damage and 10% grenade recharge Hunters get 5% extra sprint speed and tier 10 mobility by default. I think what they should do is give Warlocks tier 10 recovery at a base. This reduces their time before they start healing automatically by like 3 seconds. For Titans its tougher since everyone got resilience tier 10 by default. Something to keep in mind though is resilience gave both flinch resistance AND damage resistance. But the flinch resistance was completely removed and was added into the health stat. So maybe just give Titans the old 10% flinch resistance that tier 10 used to give. It doesn't play much into Titans being the tank it'd honestly be more a Hunter thing but if bungie added even 1% more damage resistance to Titans it'd cause massive uproar in the community.

Use burst glide and catapult lift.

1 ReplyEdited by lonewolf-qc: 3/31/2026 10:06:17 PMIf i remember right, those were how classes were viewed when D1 started. Titan: The heavily armored tank role, capable of creating protective barriers. Hunter: High-mobility, agile fighters focused on damage output and speed. Warlock: Specialized in using Light abilities, space magic, and recovery. So Hunters should have high mobility, Warlocks should have moderate mobility and Titans should have low mobility.

2 RepliesEdited by Machine_DNA: 3/31/2026 3:46:43 PMYou can give warlocks better mobility when they give us better devour

5 RepliesSprint speed has never been affected by mobility stats.
