A few things to check first, in case it’s a display/account issue rather than an actual deletion: Confirm the exact Xbox profile Sign out of Destiny 1 and your Xbox profile. Sign back in on the same Gamertag/Microsoft account you’ve been using for the last three months. If you have multiple profiles on the console, try each one and see if the missing character appears. Check on Bungie.net Go to Bungie.net and sign in with the same Microsoft account. Check your Destiny 1 characters there: If the missing character still shows on Bungie.net, the data likely still exists and this may be a display/sync issue on console (try a full console restart and relaunch Destiny 1). If the character does not show on Bungie.net for that account, it usually means it has been deleted on the server and can’t be restored. Power cycle and reinstall checks Fully close Destiny 1 and power cycle your Xbox (hold the power button ~10 seconds, then restart). Launch Destiny 1 again and see if the character reappears. If you recently changed storage devices or reinstalled, make sure you’re not looking at an old/local profile versus your live account.
