Yesterday I have played control in the crucible, and most of the players I have encountered were pretty good, like well beyond average, or even highly skilled, some were almost inhuman, like I couldn't get any kills at all
I would like to run some of what I have seen by you guys, and I am genuinely interested to hear what you think, is it possibly cheating, or is it a "you are too late to the party/ git gud" kind of thing? 😂
They were really organized, had uncanny battle awareness, knew all the spawn locations, and were killing us, as we respawned, they were capturing zones at very rapid speed, had guns at the ready at all the entrance points to the zone capture locations, they were extremely oppressive, and didn't miss, not even once, or were even slightly off, their reaction speeds were incredible, they dealt very high lethal damage in an extremely short period of time, and though I doubt they were communicating, it almost seemed as if they were, the coordination was just unbelievable, they would also disperse, and come from various places and kill you, they played aggresively, and were untouchable
They weren't just playing casual like I am, it was as if these guys were paid to do this for a living, almost as if they were trained assassins or soldiers, being sent to an area to do wet work 😅, like national tournament e-sports level, not normal people, for instance: they would wait outside of a corner, and once in sight, will shoot at you, damage you, then very quickly disengage and retreat, after you commit and press forward, only for another one at the ready to pop out synchronistically in exchange, and finish you off
Another thing that I find shocking, is that the speed by which some of them turn, jump and pan the camera/ manoeuvre at close proximity, they are very difficult to deal with because of their unusual movement, these types of sharp movements are only possible on a mouse and keyboard, and I am on console playing with a controller, it is literally impossible to move the joystick that fast, that accurate, and that sharply in such a short period of time, and never be even slightly off, also the travel distance required to move the view so sharply and quickly is quite great, but the thing is, it doesn't feel like they were cheating, but I don't know how that is possible either, it will literally break your controller, if your movement is that frequent and violent
Another thing that I have noticed, is that they are all at level 3, but they are not new accounts, based on their emblem's achievements/ triumphs when you hover over their name
So what do you think?
PS: Bungie, if you are reading this, can you please make titan's damage resistance during the fist of havoc super on par with the rest of us?

Plus, even when players are cheating, not all cheaters are equal. When a "good" player cheats, you REALLY feel it. I personally can't stand cheating. It frustrates the heck out of me. Two things get me through the frustration. 1) I still have a chance to win against most cheaters on console. The cheats are not impactful enough to guarantee a win. 2) I can't do anything about it except report them. So I try not to stress about things I can't control. So even in cases where I KNOW the other team is cheating... I still have fun. Destiny PVP is still fun, and cheaters are some of the best players in the game, so its fun to get games against them. Finally.. the matchmaking is probably grabbing anyone it can, regardless of skill. If you are used to being in low-skill lobbies, you probably will need some time to adjust to the pacing of better players.
