It's cool that you're adding in tiered versions of raid weapons for those who want them, but please for the love of god, find a way to do it that will keep the craftable versions of those weapons earnable, so that those of us who still prefer the old crafting system can earn them. My only motivation right now to run old raids is to get the patterns for craftable weapons that I haven't unlocked yet. If you remove my ability to do that, and replace it all with tiered rng slop, I'll have no motivation to play those activities anymore, outside of getting the exotic. I have no interest in clogging up my vault with tiered weapons when I should be able to just unlock those weapons for crafting without having to sacrifice what precious little vault space I have.
Also, I'm not the only one who feels this way. Ever since it was announced that there were plans to add tiered loot to raids, I've been grinding them to try and catch up on my patterns, out of fear of them being removed, and every single person I've mentioned this to while raiding agreed that they would have no motivation to run the raids anymore, if that happened. A lot of players still prefer the old crafting system, and we'd much prefer for raid weapon patterns to still be earnable, alongside the new tiered versions being added. Please find a way to keep them in the game, for the sake of the playerbase and the game's health, I'm begging you. You really can't afford to be driving away even more players right now.

Edited by BillyJean: 2/20/2026 4:35:58 AMCrafting was amazing. Cause it was only some weapons. Allowing an actual good mix of chasing some weapon rolls through RNG AND having the ability to craft some weapons. Not even damage type and archetype was craftable. And if some were, not every weapon was good enough "ei: I'm not going to craft a Witchqueen open world weapon with still bad old perks over chasing a new raid weapon" Crafting really needs to stay. I thought at first it would ruin the game, but no. When they refreshed older raids with new origin perks on newly craftable weapons (ei: Deep Stone Crypt") it gave me new reason to replay the raid all over again. It was the only recycle content I enjoyed cause it was redoing it so I can get what I WANT.
