Oh man, I am beyond excited that Bungie has definitely not delayed Shadow & Order. In fact, I’m so confident it’s arriving exactly on time that I’ve gone ahead and put in PTO at work. Not just any PTO — the kind you have to strategically hoard like Ascendant Shards. The kind you calculate around project timelines, coverage plans, and the unspoken judgment of coworkers. But you know what? Totally worth it. I’m ready. Snacks stocked. Schedule cleared. Kids passed off to neighbors. There is absolutely no universe in which I wake up on launch week to a carefully worded post explaining how the team just needs “a little more time to deliver the experience players deserve.” That simply does not happen. Especially not in live-service games. Especially not in 2026 Just 2 weeks before launch. So here’s to Shadow & Order launching exactly as planned. I’ll be there at reset, bright-eyed, PTO approved, embracing the smoothest, most technically flawless rollout in franchise history. See you all in orbit.
