Is asking for a dlc against TOS?

Somebody in my instance asked a couple others if they would purchase renegades for them. They where nice and didn't ask again cause they didnt want to harass. Not sure if it would be against TOS as it was just a question and he wasn't asking for personal info, accounts, carries, or paid recovs, so I'm not sure if it would fall under solicitation or not. Just curious, not looking to get anyone banned.

  • Gifting to other players.... Is not a destiny exclusive feature. All store fronts have that option.

    • Hey there, using Destiny 2's messaging systems to try to get some kind of personal gain from other players is indeed solicitation. Please see the below from the expanded code of conduct.
SOLICITATION is the request for something, offering something, or attempting to purchase goods or services. This includes advertisements, referral links, and selling services to use in our games, such as account recoveries or carries. Bungie does not consider the following to be solicitation: asking users to watch a broadcast or media that a user has created, or recruiting users to join a game, clan, or sub-community, within reason.
