We'd first recommend closing the game fully and restarting your console fully (hold the power button and press Restart Console). If the issue persists, sometimes there may be issues with the privacy settings on the Xbox itself. If you or your friend have not attempted the following steps, please ensure that this setting is enabled: - Navigate to Settings > General - Online Safety & Family - Privacy & Online Safety - Xbox Privacy - View Details and Customize - Communication and Multiplayer - Set "You can join cross-network play" to "Allow" - Set “You can communicate outside of Xbox with voice & text” to “Everybody” If you are still having issues joining your friend, please let us know.
