PSA: Dawning ends at Tuesday (tomorrow) reset
use your boons, claim your stuff, shake'n'bake'gift, use your coins in the store, get in your last snowball fights, open your gifts in inventory, claim essence engrams (good for material at least?), dance with space grandma...
...next up I think is an arms week (I actually never had one before so new for me) but the TWID/TWAB Thursday shall tell us more

I'd expect servers to shut down a few hours before reset. Fairly normal procedure for Bungie.
