There are about 10-11 triumphs for every past raid that increase the exotic drop chances but there have never been any concrete numbers provided. From personal experience doing said triumphs has helped immensely with obtaining raid/dungeon exotics in a timely manner though. Unless you enjoy raiding for fun, you want the armour for transmog purposes, or the weapons for collection purposes, then your best bet is just finding a group and farming the final encounter for Conditional.
