I find it ridiculous, I've done the campaign and I have to either waste my life playing the same campaign two more times, or i pay the same price as I paid for the dlc to skip it to play my other characters. its just shameless greed.

6 Replies"Greed" Back in the days if you finished it with one character you could skip it on other characters
-
Because Bungie knows people are stupid enough to buy it.
-
1 ReplyBut did you buy it though?
-
Because someone mistakingly uttered the sentence "I would literally pay to skip this for my other characters".

Because money + money = more money -
Because small indie studio bungie needs "ALL of the money" that's why, every little things needs to be monetized, every little free thing needs to have strings attached (example: transmog)
-
I liked the campaign missions. I don’t think should charge you to allow you campaign skip. I just wish I could do the missions on the alt characters and just be done. Going to all these different NPCs so they can stretch the content out makes it more of a chore than any kind of enjoyment.
I find it ridiculous, I've done the campaign and I have to either waste my life playing the same campaign two more times, or i pay the same price as I paid for the dlc to skip it to play my other characters. its just shameless greed.
Community as a whole asked for the skip option on alt characters Bungie "We heard you and we listen, here are campaign skips 2000 silver, and here is a time gated transmog system or you can drop more silver" If we ask for something long enough, bungie will monetize it...or increase the brightdust cost...shaders for example

1 ReplyFrankly, with the amount of grinding, FOMO, and general disrespect of player time/investment I can't be bothered to play this game on anything but a single character anyway. And playing only a single character really lays bare how shallow this game truly is.
-
The Woke cringe Bungie people need another Lamborghini or something
-
Trillion dollar corporation greedy? No way!?
-
Because Bungie is a leftist greedy company who thinks it’s the players fault for the game beinig in this state so that’s why they only care about money
-
Because money.
-
It’s because people pay it.
-
2 RepliesThe fact people are willing to pay $20 to NOT play the campaign, should be very telling to Bungie’s devs 😂. I say that, but they know what they are doing, which is why people continue to pay.
-
1 ReplyWhy did you pay $40+ for something you don’t want to play? The vast majority of the game does not require you to touch the new DLC on other characters, including all of the portal activities. Even the new dungeon requires doing 1 mission or just join someone who has done a single mission. The only content locked behind renegades is renegades content, which if you hate it that much to pay to skip then I don’t see why you’d want to just play more of it.
-
3 RepliesIt’s greedy but I just pay it. Worth the convenience.
-
1 ReplyAnd you don’t even get the exotic neither. I wasted my money wanting to play a new class thinking that n was pissed when i realized u don’t get it.
-
Pure greed on Bungle’s end because they know people will buy them! From a business standpoint though, well played Bungle!
-
3 Repliescuz lazy community keep buying it
-
I don't mind redoing it. Feels different on each character
-
1 ReplyIt's a lot of money for such a thing, but TBH I don't mind replaying campaigns. I wish I could replay campaigns from the Red War onwards. Sunsetting really annoyed me.
-
The search for more money
-
3 RepliesIts not greed, its business. They know people are stupid enough to pay for it. Cant blame bungie for this
-
Just play the game like it’s meant to be played and wouldn’t have this
-
Well, blame people begging Bungie for skips knowing well enough. Bungie will put a price on it.
