I Feel Like a Hamster and Now My Vault is Full
I really feel like a hamster, saving most almost god-rolls in my vault. Because with Bungie you never know which perk they'll nerf or even buff.
For armor same story: Maybe from next season Health will matter, again lol.
But now my vault is full and I have 500k glimmer. Deleting stuff gives me nothing. So my Vault is still full 🤣🤣🤣

The problem is that our vaults are (at least mine is) filled mostly with weapons that are not part of the tiered system, and no one knows if they ever will be. This is one of Bungie’s biggest issues; they introduce new systems that are half-baked and never take into consideration the loot that we have accumulated in the past. They keep trying to reset the game without actually launching a new game and it’s contradictory to the live-service identity they themselves gave D2 when they split from Activision.

Keep whatever, but if you should seriously check out the in game vault sorting. It’s actually super useful/intuitive. Select armor, then sort by a single set bonus, and then easily compare which pieces you’ve got side by side. You may have some tier 3s and 4s that are just taking up space. Or even exact stat duplicates. You can even search for weapons of which you have duplicates. It’s one of my favorite additions to the game. (And you can swap pages super quickly on console.) If you’re playing all three characters, I guess I could see hitting max items, but are you ever gonna use that stuff? I’ve kept a bunch of weapons from many seasons ago, but I use them in crucible all the time. Keep what you keep though. Good luck. You ain’t getting any more space lol

This is why crafting was such a god send. You could have the pattern and craft weapons with perks that were good for the current season. Now we're back to the hoarders era when you don't know what will be good in the future so scrounge up what you can and hope that it's good in the future. Oh and a message from our overlords, "F you and your vault space, choose what you want, delete the rest and pray you didn't delete something that might end up being a god roll down the road." - Bungie (prolly)

1 ReplyAt some point you just need to start clearing stuff out, regsrfdless of how good rolls might be, because there just is simply no guarantee that Bungie will ever make something relevant again. Just the harsh truth of it all

1 ReplyIf your vault is full, you horde rubbish. I guarantee at least 50% could be instantly deleted and you wouldn’t know the difference.

It's not a shooter looter anymore....space magic is the way forward.. Bungie dictates what weapons will be strongest in a particular season, but it doesn't really matter, because power now comes from builds and abilities. We are tempted to play when they give us half a dozen weapons to farm for, doubling to a dozen if you count the pretty hologram versions. But the new weapons are weak, and Bungie dictate what build will be strongest in every 6 monthly season. The way I look at it now, we have the biggest vault in the history of Destiny, but need the least loot. [b][i]Everything [/i][/b]in the game is programmed to last a single season.

keep at least 100 free always.. prob 150-200 is a good habit now... (DIM is part of the game... you just trim it as a side game) ... I deleted most of my vault and restarted up like a month ago have had to trim the 1000 slots already twice... relying on the new untested stuff has actually been fun (so don't fear it) but I understand wanting to have those rolls... I do find myself missing some rolls for certain. recently tried the Peculiar Charm in PVE and enjoyed the crap out of it (stopping power + bewildering blast with opening salvo mod)... duty bound also must think I only use it for bewildering burst I love that perk... and I don't know Motif-41 is deadly.. and of course Psi Aeterna... so the game provides

3 RepliesHad the same issue, went from 699 to 999 in vault when Renegade launched. What I did: For armor I selected the armor sets that I want to keep and melted everything else. Techsec, smoke jumper, Ferropotent, two-fold and sage protector are my main must haves right now. For weapons I imagine which roll I will I take into the hardest content D2 has to offer, I keep that roll and melt everything else.

I’m not much of a hoarder, but for Renegades I decided to strip everything right back. I’m only running Strand Hunter and using Renegades loot. Any duplicates, I make a quick decision on which one to delete. Any other loot gets instantly deleted or infused. I’ve minimised the time I spend on inventory management and build. When I get bored of it, I’ll start throwing one or two other things into the mix, but for now it feels like a good way to play.
