Once more: [i've posted this 6 times] Bug with the combinated actions Sprint/hold crouch after the 8.1.0 update. Greetings, before all, yes, i have had published this before, now im really worried this could not get adressed, Destiny is game i enjoy the most and since 8.1.0 it has been really hard to adapt to this, so lets start. I would like to clarify that before the 8.1.0 update this combination worked perfectly well on controllers as follows: PRIOR TO UPDATE 8.1.0: (1) TO START SPRINT: By keeping the joystick tilted forward and pressing the button once with the Sprint/hold crouch command combination, the Guardian immediately started sprinting. (2) TO CROUCH: By holding the joystick in neutral or leaning back and keeping pressing the Sprint/hold crouch button the Guardian crouched, this was very practical, over 3,000 hours playing with this combination now its bugged with the next argument: "We did have one note we missed last week: In Revenant we are going to be placing a cap on the amount of crouch inputs you can enter per second to equalize Hold to Crouch with Toggle Crouch in terms of its behavior. This limit is something that can be tuned, and because a tactical crouch or two during an engagement is an expression of skill and not something we want to discourage, we verified in our play testing that our first pass was set so that it would be difficult to tell a limit existed if you're crouching at a normal cadence. However, our goal is to reduce the amount of untargeted crouch spamming, done either manually or via macros, encountered while playing Crucible, and we can further change the value as needed to prevent this behavior." AFTER UPDATE 8.1.0: (1) TO START RUNNING (BUG): Keeping the joystick tilted forward and pressing the button once with the Sprint/hold crouch command combination, our Guardian will crouch indefinitely, leaving this bug until press the Sprint/hold crouch button again. (2) TO START RUNNING: By keeping the joystick tilted forward and holding down the Sprint/hold crouch command the Guardian will first crouch for an instant before start sprint (which is really awkward and might even look like you're doing exactly what the 8.1.0 update was focused on prevent). (3) TO CROUCH: Works the same as before Update 8.1.0. The erratic way this sprint/hold crouch button combination works is quite frustrating and annoying, inmust keep checking if im sprinting or got bugged at crouch position even when the action is hold crouch every time i use sprint. Reiterating my intention to this bug be identified and corrected, taking into account that it does not contradict in any way what the 8.1.0 update sought to regulate with the abuse of the crouch action.
