Bind VI to Oryx's corpse
The Taken King is dead, but his body still lives, minus the worm. The body is either in the Vanguard vaults or still on Titan within Saturn's orbit.
We need to bind each of the Nine to a body, but that doesn't mean that body has to be sentient.
Lodi said VI would speak as the Navigator once did. Eris demonstrated she could commune with its Vessel as a peer amongst the Hive gods.
It might be possible for us to leverage such a connection, rip VI from Bael, and bind VI to Oryx's body.
I don't believe we will have to worry about what comes as the body is more of a vegetable without Oryx's worm.

If he wasn't Lord of the Taken, maybe...but any of that triumvate would be like handing the button of a nuke to a teenager with anger issues. I suspect we're going to bind the Nine to people who have nothing much to lose: Zavala has lost his Ghost and it sounds like he's on his way out of the Vanguard (indeed, will there even be need of a Vanguard after this if people decide they don't need Guardians anymore?). He would probably volunteer, because sacrifice isn't new to him. I could see Mishraaks doing the same; he still has the Eliksni dementia and is deteriorating; Eido will be Kell, and if it would save his child, what dying parent would do less? Long girl in the soup, maybe? Sloane is definitely tough enough to resist the Taken urge, and has sworn to protect Ahsa. The Long Girl could serve, the proto-worms are a symbiotic species, it wouldn't be outside the realm of possibility. Sloane would protest I suspect, but it is Ahsa who would make the decision, and whatever it was, Sloane would comply and cope with it. I could definitely see Queen Mara and Eris Morn stepping up - they're powerful and capable, and even if it would come with some rather nasty challenges, it could happen. I was thinking Failsafe might even manage, but I wonder if the Conductor is losing the Echo, whether Failsafe might be the one to accept it for the Vex instead, so maybe that's where it's going....I just can't imagine we leave Failsafe there. Anyway, I can't see us binding the Nine to an enemy, but I can't see us binding them to some people we know...a changing of the guard, as it were.
