As a Defender main, I have been very unsatisfied with the state of Ward of Dawn for quite a while. It's never really had a place in Destiny 2 for a variety of reasons; l've also never been in support of it getting Weapons of Light. Personally, I want Ward of Dawn to be the ultimate utility super that provides the Titan and their allies with protection and ammunition... This is what I would do to it on top of what it does now… - In addition to the Ward of Dawn itself, there would be a rally barricade type cover that circles the Ward of Dawn so users have added protection while not in the Ward Of Dawn. - While in the Ward of Dawn or behind its "rally barricade", all allies and yourself gain increased ammo generation for all weapons. - Increased health of the Ward of Dawn (it should be difficult to destroy) - Restore Armor of Light or drastically increase the health of the overshield while inside the Ward of Dawn - When the Ward of Dawn takes damage, it absorbs splash damage and generates orbs of light. - Slightly increase the size of the Ward of Dawn by a meter. I’d also show some love to the Helm of Saint-14 exotic… - No longer grants weapons of light - Instead of blinding enemies that enter the Ward of Dawn, it suppresses them. - When the Ward of Dawn takes damage, its duration is increased. - When the Ward of Dawn is destroyed or expired, it releases a large suppressive wave that pushes enemies back. - Void weapon kills grant more super energy
