Legendary Orders
So I had two: 1) rapid machine gun kills , and 2) solar ability kills. I went into lawless frontier (which I really enjoy), but -blam!-, my solar super could barely kill red bars, and neither could my heavy. Went the entire round with barely any progress.
Hopped into grasp and finished them both in a couple minutes.
I love the activity, but I’m never gonna attempt to complete legendary or exotic orders in LF. Damn.
Is it just me?
EDIT: I was informed you can lower the difficulty down to expert to easily complete legendary orders via the customize tab. I knew I was missing something. I love the challenge and chaos of GM contested, but it ain’t the place for legendary orders lol

1 ReplyThey pretty much gave middle finger to everyone who grinded to 550 last season. Unless we opt out, we’re automatically thrown into Ultimate difficulty activities where the game is so overtuned that it feels like we’re fighting a pack of limp linguini in our hands. You either have to be a God Tier professional gamer, a cheater, or completely insane to enjoy the game at that level. No ammo, a power delta that makes our 550 power useless; our abilities rarely generate, and when they’re up, do very little damage. Everything is a Champion! But we have no ammo in the weapons we choose for stunning them. Not to mention they are much harder to stun. The enemy combatants have constant ability spamming and can basically one shot us. The arenas we’re fighting in usually have no place to take cover from said spamming. Yet we’re supposed to do the activity with all those limitations within a ridiculously restrictive time limit and ridiculously low revives. Once again proving these people don’t actually play their own game. They’re just a bunch of nerds sitting behind a screen thinking “what else can we add here to piss them off and make this activity impossible to complete”?!

It's because bungie thinks we want to stress and struggle in everything post EoF wise because the streamers and youtubers who are in their ears have got them to ruin this game beyond... Salvation... Grasp is one great place, another is Thrall bridge ("In the Deep", Moon mission, grab Cryptoglyph and wipe once Darkness zone, shoot turrets of Tomb ship, shoot infinite Thrall on bridge) is another that's even better when it's in rotation

Load normal Whisper mission. Go to the green room and drop down and kill the easy cheese thrall till your done. If its sword use the storm and go have a sandwich.

Use Shuro chi checkpoint, that's what I do just to farm the payout stuff.

Altars of sorrow is a great place to chill and get orders done also tons of ammo for free no need for a rally.

Just gran a shuro chi checkpoint from twitch bots (or me lol) & do them there, takes like 3 mins per contract.

I do these orders in the exodus garden lost sector in the Cosmodrome, one or two runs and it's done.

Caldera bottom of the stairs where Vex & Fallen spawn in groups. You can rattle them off easy there.

4 RepliesNo, it's not just you. I typically run around the Cosmodrome to finish orders unless it's something requiring a Portal activity at a certain difficulty. Seems cheap I know, but the job gets done.

2 RepliesLoad into the level 200 Lawless Frontier and you should be able to. I don't typically have issues completing Legendary/Exotic orders in Lawless Frontier outside of losing progress from death because I go sword happy on Exploding shanks XD.
