Or at least make the feats needed adjust to fireteam size. This system makes the loot useless for solo players.
I get why you wouldn’t do it per encounter but if someone clears the entire dungeon solo they should at least get a tier 5 at the final boss.
No way I’m replacing my tier 5 armour with tier 3 or 4 just for a set bonus. I have my flawless emblem and I have the taken crystal so now is when I would be grinding for armour and weapons but your system makes me not care, so I guess I’m done with the dungeon already.
You might want to start thinking about solo players more, we may be the only ppl left playing the game soon. Everyone that I know that still plays are solo players, everyone that used to play with a clan or ppl they played with for yrs aren’t coming back because their friends aren’t.

if you saw the dungeon that you guarantee you the exotic if you solo, the dungeon *flawless it should guarantee you taken crystal

I agree with this. The game absolutely rains T-5 gear, yet a solo dungeon clear does not? This is why the community thinks Bungie devs do not play their own game. I'm just sayin. Please don't take this personal. Think about the time and effort, the rewards should match. Happy New Year ladies and gents 👍

12 RepliesBungie scuffed the entire implementation of tiered loot. It should have always been directly tied to level of challenge. Normal raids and dungeons with a full team should have been t4. Master raids and dungeons should be t5. 3 man normal raids should be t5 Solo dungeons sounds be t5. Flawless raids and dungeons with a full team should t5 Solo flawless dungeons should have a t5 weapon with a unique dungeon shader at the end, akin to the unique shaders we got during the days of the forges.

Edited by xbroggiex: 12/29/2025 8:02:48 PMI still haven't bothered with even a solo because the dungeon is incredibly easy by default and I just can't be bothered to even do a solo flawless like I usually do when it'd be for an emblem that I probably won't use because it looks mid. Solo should give better rewards than in a full team but its like whatever now. The tiered loot system was a mistake.

Like the Petra's Run wish in the Last Wish raid and the special switches that were in Crown of Sorrow and that Fallen one you get Anarchy from. Obviously death results in a kick to orbit. Neither of these should be programmed to have an effect on triumphs, strictly loot quality.
