Brother I haven’t rushed the light level grind experience because it’s the same old story every time, unless it matters in raids it is absolutely pointless. Unless the raid weapons and raid gear or even trials gear, any of the upper echelon activities require higher light level for the sickest drip and sickest weapons, it’s just not a thing to prioritize whatsoever in this game. I tell this to everyone who ever gets upset with this game: if the base sandbox and experience of playing it for what it is alone is not satisfactory enough to you with the buildcrafting fantasies letting you wreck in base game, chances are it’s not good enough right now and you have to put it down the moment it is just stale and bad. If the endgame doesn’t satisfy one for merely being “a boss”, then it’s just unfortunately not worth it anymore. Every destiny player I know has gone through this painful battle and most don’t want to continue because ultimately they’re called to more than this game, that’s absolutely okay bro. If you feel like you want to play more later that’s great, if not that’s absolutely fair too as I’ve been here since D1 in the second month of it coming out. It’s a harsh mistress, you don’t have to tolerate her constantly if she’s not worth the struggle bro, I just hope graviton Lance still makes you smile when you pop one fool to the head and watch the fireworks go boom literally everywhere🙂.
