It was always going to happen, what do you think the Portal, Vanguard Alerts & Orders are setting the stage for?

And I know we live in a Veruca age of demands for instant gratification....
And I know they @Bungie would have loved to give us more of it all at once....
These growing pains are important to the future of "Destiny".
A new era... of 'Destiny'.
If EVERYTHING came back... or almost EVERYTHING, how do you incentivize it?
Because expecting fully curated loot tables that remain perpetually relevant is not something they could do in the past...
Enter the Portal.
This IS the way to do it.
The Portal's offerings could be better curated, more unique loot per activities... sure.
Still... this is how you bring back old content.

I'd love it if Bungie found a way to use Orders to incentivize old content. "Run the Blind Well, get this Tiered loot." But in truth I don't know what they'll use Orders for. We'll find out in two weeks! Holy crap, Renegades is in two weeks...
