Im generally disappointed in Bungie with this event.
It's like playing against ulitmate sweaties without knowing you are competing against sweatbags.
I thought arms week was about playing together. But i guess Bungo decided to make this a event a gateway to make the gap between people even bigger.... well done Bungo.... well done.... no wonder people are leaving this game.
Edit: for those who call me out for being 550.... you pretty much acknowledge the fact that there is a gap in this community.... nicely done

13 RepliesOP: chin up, Guardian! The vibe of this event is another misstep by BHQ…which, they are now clearly aware of, and are taking steps to alter the flow… You’re at 550+ 👍 That just means you benefit from better loot drops, that’s all. That was a mighty grind…we all know it…well done you! 😎 I’m at 510+/- and I was not grinding numbers, just playing the vanilla stuff and pootling about as I normally do. Most of those gains came from the recent events, and a lot from loot drops in PvP. I ran the strike event a few times and had some good teammates; also, I’m not a build crafter though I did lean into the Warlock ‘getaway’ gloves multi build…and that worked a treat even though I’m not an optimise player…more on the basic vanilla stuff. Then, I tried a salt mine run - reset to Master level, because I only wanted to log a score, and I detest the Neomuna Overtuna stuff that my 510 automatically loads me into… Got that done albeit at my usual tortoise pace! ✅ Then, I tried a run at the Coil event, which I never liked anyway…so I reset it to the lowest levels possible - just to log a score, to complete the Seal triumph. Long story, short - I did 3x complete runs…fought all the overtuned enemies - even at this base level setting, and barely made to the end…that final room with the big chickens is a pain. Then it restarted the cycle again…and I bailed. No score was logged. That was very frustrating indeed…and all I could think of was how on earth would a New Light or returning lapsed player cope trying to run that event - at a much lower LL, too?! At least I kinda knew my way around the runs…but I found it a bit too Neomuna Overtuna for me. And so, I won’t be doing that again anytime soon. 😤 So, to the Crucible event I went…played a bunch…got loads of loot…saw more than a few SUS players…then it was time to change character… I’d watched a Maven vid about the invis Hunter PvP build she recently made…and though I’m not a build crafter, nor a natural Hunter, I wanted to try it out. And so I did…with some slight modifications to better suit my weapon preferences…and it was a hoot! I was having fun in PvP despite all of the usual SUS shenanigans that we all know and see! And here we are… BHQ know there are significant bug issues re scores not registering - particularly in the PvP event…don’t I know it! 🤔 They are making a course correction…and have reset a few things already…it will take some time for those corrections to register… Suggestion: don’t delete your characters in a fit of justifiable pique…and don’t quit Destiny in a huff. We all know the temptation to do it sometimes grips us hard… I find a better solution is to go take a break, and maybe try another game that might have caught your attention…WarFrame / Arc Raiders / Stray / etc…you can always come back to Destiny, like many of us have! Don’t delete years of mostly good memories just to vent your justifiable frustration at BHQ…just take a break, and have a kit-kat and a nice cup of tea, instead! ✅ Chin up, Guardian! 👍 That is all. Play Fair! Play Nice! Don’t Quit / Cheat.👈 Ease Springs! 🖖👻
