3 runs in a row softlock because of an immunity. Low revives ending runs in matchmaking. This event is a joke.

I ran it once with blueberries. We cleared it, but we soft locked at an Immunity, and I had to solo the Ogre because both of my teammates were dead and we were out of revives. It's definitely possible with a random team, but expecting casual players to get through it OK with only one res to start off on? No way

This is one I’ve run solo on the lowest settings possible…and barely made it…and it didn’t log a score. Which is why I did it to begin with.😤 Against my better judgement, I just tried LFG x2…didn’t get past room 3 - ogre on plinth, boss firing nonstop rounds from on high, with overtuned enemies spawning nonstop and barely taking any damage?! This Neomuna Overtuna BS is not for me. 🤬 Instead, will run strikes and crucible to get t5 drops and use as infusion fuel…whilst slowly increasing my overall 520+ - though, that ain’t the priority. 🤨 That is all. Ease Slings! 🖖👻

1 ReplyI think anything with a timer is unplayable.

I mean if you're dying consider buying revives. Break all jars and pick up the motes. I watch people run right past em. Use appropriate mods. Play smart. I actually had an lfg group the other day. We finished with about 17 revives...

Thunder crashing kills the immune one.

You have to use your super that you've been trying to save for something else lol You can thank bungie for that

"We here at Bungie play test this game and listen to the fans, 1 revive is ok enough" 😁
-
Came here to say this exact same thing. 3 runs in a row, the second I jumped in at zero revives with one guardian still trying to break that immunity shield lol, I wondered how long he was trying for! Though honestly, revives wouldn't be an issue if most match made guardians weren't apparently so brain-deficient and just played smarter. After the 3 soft locked attempts, my fourth attempt had one guardian use up all 3 revive tokens in the first 5 minutes! I was already beyond frustrated, then died from getting yeeted by the taken with the shield, I immediately rage quit the game at that point, which is honestly the first and only time I've ever rage quit Destiny in my 10 long years of playing. I'm going back to Borderlands until they fix these issues, this game (and that helmet) just isn't worth the frustration, which is part of why I skipped EoF to begin with and only came back a few weeks ago. Seems like all Bungie has been doing this year is screwing up, releasing either terribly grindy/unbalanced and buggy content, then playing catch up and fixing what they broke. Come to think of it, they've actually been apologizing a lot since pretty much lightfall. They need to hire back some of the people they fired, then fire the current game director, because the whole bugs/screw ups/apologies/fixes cycle is becoming way too frequent, and getting really REALLY old.

My solar warlock super killed the immune psion and we were able to continue. Try supers

2 RepliesDo you break the pots that occasionally drop rez tokens? They also drop glass shards.
-
For Coil I use LFG only, in fact for most of them. MM is way too random
-
So.. yeahhh have you looked at eververse

8 RepliesEdited by ajpic: 11/14/2025 2:24:27 AMCame here to comment the same thing. Blueberries use all the revive tokens and we end up wasting a bunch of time doing nothing.

Bungie 100% did not play test this lmao

The Coil is frustrating with blueberries. I guarantee you’ll have better luck getting a fireteam together. I two-manned it with my buddy and barely missed top 10%. Hopefully they address the low starting revives soon.

It is broken and it does suck, but you can use a super to mitigate it.

Edited by FlareFL: 11/13/2025 4:07:00 PMThere's one way to get past an invulnerable mob: it takes damage from super attacks (its shield can be seen by the diminishing white bar above its head). It took me two supers to kill it, but unfortunately, my character build wasn't optimized for supers, and I wasted a ton of time. I soloed it with a Void Titan (axes) and encountered two invulnerable mobs in one playthrough, but luckily the first one was chasing me during the boss fight, so I didn't have to kill it. P.S.: I won't be returning to this activity because of this bug, as it's not a normal situation, but my "life hack" might be useful for those who want to get weekly tokens.

Shoot urns… Supers kill them. Explosive damage makes light work of the protector things…

Ignition will sometimes work.
