Point System Punishes Returning Players
At a time when the player count is distressingly low why implement a scoring system that punishes players with lower light levels?
Any player who hasn’t been here all along grinding to 550 has a very poor chance of obtaining the lovely flaming helmet.
More and more are realizing it’ll be impossible or nearly impossible and skip the event entirely and go play something else.

Also when the population and the morale of the player base is dwindling, introducing an event like this one is very off putting to new players. Imagine this from outside, you’re checking out this game and the player base is pointing out this stuff, I would stay out if I saw this since I would get nothing for being a new player in that case.

3 RepliesWhat’s the issue with rewarding the players who stayed and maxed out their lvl ? It’s an ornament , it’s not like it’s an OP weapon. I’m not going to get because I haven’t played enough to lvl up Bungie decided to give away an ornament for those who stayed and played not sure why that’s a problem?
