As per the latest weapon tuning update, the haliaetus rocket will be nerfed so cluster bombs won't work with the bray legacy origin trait. Although this was a strong interaction, it provided an alternate means to play the game - building into ability spam on ALL classes.
It was actually pretty fun to not rely on bait and switch/elemental honing heavy weapons to deal damage. With all the negativity surrounding the game why continue to pigeon hole our build crafting...

First time since Forsaken I have wanted cluster bombs.

Bungie sees higher usage of an item as a bad thing as that item is apparently over performing, but not the fact it is over performing is because everything else in slot is cheeks... Was nice to finally have cluster bombs be worth using again and a RL, but Bungie can't be having that now.

They don’t want to encourage any fun, it’s a real shame to see how bad things have gotten

can't agree more

It's such a crazy nerf, too, because it's reliant on boss size and a relative lack of boss mobility to even leverage. I could understand Gjallerhorn munitions not counting, but not letting anything other than the initial impact of the rocket count just makes that specific RL not worth caring about in the slightest.

That's crazy! That weapon felt perfectly balanced.

Fun???? Now you did it. Even the sweats and try hards love it...I bet it gets reversed lol.
