I won’t be able to unlock this helmet.
Quite possibly the coolest ornament in the game and it’s only gonna be available for the 1 percent.

I am 550 and couldn’t bring myself to play the game longer than 20 minutes or so, out of boredom 😂. We all know what will happen. Bungie releases a thing that is broken / everyone hates. They wait until everyone complains loud enough, then changes it because of feedback. I promise they will make the helmet achievable for all light levels very soon. That isn’t a big deal. I am jaded at the consistently rushed content deliveries. It is extremely lazy to release something you know is half baked with the intention to patch in a fix later, after you’ve pissed off your player base.

I'm 550 and have a grand total of 24 points over three activities. The damn thing hasn't budged since those first games. I've since bettered all of those scores but nothing shows up!

2 RepliesPersonally, I find it funny that folks are getting bent out of shape over what honestly isn't even a visually appealing helmet ornament. Doesn't even fit the Seraph vibe, just has a crest with fire on top. All I'm getting out of this snoozefest is mats and a spackling of bright dust so best only to put in enough time for the weeklies and the like and then hop onto another game until next reset.

1 ReplyI just cant believe how inept this company has become. If i have every +4 and +5 modifier on the most i can get to is 1,710,320 score at level 497 on salt mines. I would need to get above 2,100,000 for the helmet now. These guys are just brain dead at this point. Event is absolutely a waste of time now for 95% of the player base. Although admittable the player base is smaller now it looks like its about to get even smaller. Bungie have destroyed and continue to destroy this game. Well done!

Leave it to bungie to make a contest where PL = unfair advantage Also it's bugged, not getting points anymore once the quest steps been finished, got 35 pts and shader says 25 but the node for it says not completed and has a bar below it talking about points being at 5/75 until next branch. Also the activities are all grindy hard sweatfest garbo with shielded enemies, normal bots in portal activities have a melee hitbox you can lunge at if you melee but not these ones that float around enemies same goes with weapon aiming it doesn't have some sticky to it..... Wow bungie Bungie had the easiest event layout possible, just let us rack up points by.. Playing the GAME anywhere in the portal but no of course not has to be limited and those with 550 gear win automatically and those below them get worse rewards even if they put in the work This game is cooked, burnted, charcoaled and there's no putting this Humpty Dumpty together again

wow, really, good to know, will just farm a good roll on the crossbow which I probably already have tried to load into the coil and it yeeted me back to orbit without even touching down, turned it off

9 RepliesYeah, I could understand it being tied to ultimate difficulty, but people who are 500 and 550 are playing the EXACT SAME activity at the EXACT SAME difficulty. The scoring multiplier with the same modifiers should be the same.

I won't even bother. They are trying this stuff to see if they can force people to play a lot in hopes to get the helmet. Increasing their players numbers. It may backfire on them

I don't mind things being difficult or challenging, but making it basically a requirement to be 550+ is overkill. lower the shịt to 330+, at least.. idk. that ornament is cool af. guess most of us won't be getting it.
