Save FotL #25 Haunted Altars Going Stale

I was having alot of fun the first few days, but by the 4th day, I found myself being less desiring to jump back in. It was a wonderful breath of fresh air, and I do genuinely appreciate that. Though I am complaining here, please do not interpret this as me whining. There's just not enough variety or variation between runs to help the activity stay fresh. It's the #1 issue I brought up with Haunted Sectors. The key difference being the sectors were stale on arrival. Haunted Altars at least has unique objectives, offering a fresh gameplay experience. Another thing I can't help but notice is that there's just not really enough festive feel in the activity. The decorations are did wonderfully. I wouldn't change them at all. But ultimately it's still just Sorrow's Harbor. It's daytime with bright daylight 75% of the time, and the night time still is bright. I don't believe there's any FotL music. There's no dialogue. It's as if the team has forgotten the importance of certain details in crafting a good atmosphere. Again, please don't interpret this as me just whining. I do love the Haunted Altars. They serve as a wonderful foundation for a new activity. I am merely concerned that if feels only half completed, and that's not even taking account for the bugs from obviously not being properly playtested. I am hopeful that this activity can truly be something wonderful with just a little more time in the oven. Unlike Haunted Sectors, Haunted Altars doesn't need a total rework. I feel they have the skeletal workings of a wonderful activity here and it just needs to be flesh out a little. The activity is great, but every run is almost identical. The first wave is always a small trickle of Taken, the second wave is always Hive, and the third wave is always slightly overtuned Dread. The "bonus objective" is always just those purple crystals, and the boss is always Sir Skullduggery (I do love that name). The mask mods are also extremely minimal and barely feel like they make a difference. There's just not enough variation to keep the game mode fresh, nor is there enough of a festive atmosphere to differentiate the location properly.
