Destiny 2 is no longer fun... at all.
You did it, just like you did with Halo when you were done with it and wanted to make Destiny... You've destroyed Destiny enough that you'll be able to focus solely on Marathon soon.
The capped power deltas, no/insanely limited revives, and Overload champs everywhere have sucked every last drop of fun out of this game.
No bonus engram daily refresh anymore huh? You continue to lie about listening to your customers. Every time you "speed progression up" you take other actions, hidden actions you don't tell us about, to slow us down, just like dropping primes from +3 to +2 and pretending you didn't.
Oh, let's not forget the broken Xbox Series X audio. You broke it when A&I launched and STILL haven't even acknowledged it.
Tiny Gods... Powerful Guardians... The only hope of the universe... Constantly, at all times, reduced to ants at the feet of giants by Bungie's sadistic, idiotic decisions.
We game to have fun.
We level to feel powerful.
We give you money to provide those feelings with your product.
You've failed spectacularly at your jobs, at providing a product that makes many of us want to engage with it. The addiction is waning, the end is near for me, if not already here. I'm no longer annoyed, no longer sad, I'm just tired and fed up.

1 ReplyAny normal job, if you are THIS bad at it, they fire you.

Be careful now, you’re complaining about the game, the hypocritical elitist trolls are surely coming after you. The ones too arrogant to admit they aren’t having fun either but just want to disagree just to be disagreeable.

19 RepliesI agree. The idea that all players should play the hardest difficulty, and that there should be NO, NONE, match making at lower levels tells me that bungie just thinks that EVERY player can play with the top 10%. We are not all equally skilled, equally geared. If only a few percent of the player base are doing end game content, that is OK. If Bungie wants more players involved with end game content, you have to make it easier for us less skilled players. Bungie, however, cannot just make the game harder and expect all the low and id skilled players to play like the top 10%. People do not operate that way. So many of us unskilled and under geared players have just left. Missed revenue targets 2 years ago and laid off 100 devs. Last year more player loss, more missed revenue goals, more layoffs. EOF worst expansion in the history of the game, worse than CoO; fewest players on line, I would imagine lowest revenues. Bungie refusing to fix the things the bulk pof the player base is unhappy about. The 300 bonus catch up chest full of weapons and gear with bad perks and bad stats. I kept one piece of gear from that mess. I could not make a build with what they game me. Bungie does not care.

1 ReplyMarathon is DOA, it has no future. Especially after spending the last weekend playing Arc Raiders. No way Marathon can beat Arc Raiders.
-
Agree, it’s getting harder and harder to have fun. Everything, especially the portal, feels like FOMO and how you should always be farming stuff except the extra difficulty is exhausting.
-
The portal sucked all the fun from the game. It should be an addition to the game to add the ability to modify activities, not the whole game itself.
-
2 RepliesWell said… many of us feel the same way

1 ReplyPeople still play this game?
-
Have a break and come back 🤷🏼♂️

The portal was the death of this game. I still don't understand why they even have a vanguard area or a pvp area that's not even in the portal lol Either throw everything in the portal or get rid of the portal altogether. Additionally, having to sweat through some of the portal activities just to earn your rewards is poor form by Bungie. They keep saying that it saddens them that they aren't making people happy with the way the game is, but they continue to do so. They have no idea how to read the room.

15 RepliesEdited by Griever: 10/20/2025 6:39:20 PMIt was 343 that destroyed Halo with: * The title update no one asked for in Reach * Removing like half it's playlists * Putting in trashy forged maps into modes that didn't have them * Trying to copy COD in Halo 4 * The weapon tuning that made BR/ AR the only loadout everyone used * Adding enough micro transactions into H5 that it basically became P2W in Warzone and Firefight * The insanely slow leveling system of H5 * Changing how every gun worked and converting some into "power weapons" when some were actually worse than before * Neglecting most of MCC at worst and just restoring cut content at best. CE multiplayer is unplayable, same as H2 and H3 unless your bullets are actually doing damage when they're clearly supposed to and you're not getting spawn killed for 80% of your deaths. H4 and Reach stopped being fun near the end of the original games, and H2A was almost completely ignored despite it being a major selling point of MCC * Halo infinite's scummy monetization * Replacing most of the beloved guns with downgrades in Infinite like the Bulldog or a plasma pistol that can't EMP * Changed how several guns worked again and kept the potential head shot damage for EVERY GUN from H5 while also keeping bloom and recoil too in a game that now had less AA/ bullet magnetism AND much faster movement * Nerfed every vehicle's lethality * Highlighting enemies * And FOV slider can so easily screw you over with how close to tunnel vision and reticle size changes with it I could probably go on. All bungie did was sell Halo to 343 and THEY ruined it to the point this supposed combat evolved remake i highly doubt will accomplish more than just give a small boost in their budget for their next live service cash cow.

2 Replies[quote]The addiction is waning, the end is near for me, if not already here. Something of a combination of mental illness, and you need to find a more enjoyable game. Best of luck with both, I guess 🤣.

1 ReplyIt's more fun watching ads on YouTube than playing d2

For Bungo, so maybe you can learn. fun /fʌn/ noun enjoyment, amusement, or light-hearted pleasure. You have removed all the fun, we can't just go in do a variety of things and earn levels and gear. Bring back the enjoyment within your game if you want to keep and bring back players. It is always typical Bungo we will give you with one hand then SMACK you with the other. They need to make sure all activites reward you with leveling gear, even if it is one piece at one level above and more and higher rewards to doing the other objecties like timer etc. If they did this they help the casual players and the 1% can go for their high value rewards.

Edited by Dooodley: 10/20/2025 12:22:39 AMI don't even know what Halo-ed means. The Halo games Bungie was behind rocked. Now, I get that some people didnt vibe with Reach - and perhaps specifically the DMR - but I thought it was great. Not as good as H3 and definitely not as good as the GOAT, H2, but otherwise a solid game. I wish Bungie had remained the same and was able to still produce such solid products -especially the PvP side of it.
