All the traps to intentionally kill you. This is just painful to play and NOT fun.
You can keep you stupid rewards. I am not playing through this crap on any difficulty level!!!!!!
There was zero need to make this many ways to kill the player. I mean it is just idiotic that you would play this and think, wow a player may die a dozen or more times with electric false doors, so it is the funnest thing we have ever released!!
Just frustrating. I have no interest in fighting my way through stupid traps just for an exotic. You can keep especially considering I may have to do this 4 or 5 more times are higher difficulty levels.
Devs making bad decisions and if they thought this was fun and engaging. THEY FAILED!!!!!!!!

Edited by starcrest: 10/7/2025 11:28:29 PMYeah, I died a lot on those electric doors then
spotted a light on the central ceiling of the correct ones.
I also died a lot on the electric fence but eventually fluked it. The 3 codes that needed hacking, I did it eventually but no idea how! Overall it wasn't too bad, I didn't look anything up and I enjoyed it, give it another go guardian. 👍

Pick the tunnels with the light on at the top and you will make it through. I suck and I was solo and made it. I even got through the 2nd time solo for the perks. You can do it if I can. Just find a good build.

I thought it would be crap before they ever launched it and is why I have lost interest in anything they promise or promote. Like each time before, I preordered the whole package but based on what has happened this season, I will never drop a dime on Destiny again. They have a long, long way to go before they win my trust back. The game is not fun and anything that used to be fun, they broke.

Edited by Stalkholm: 10/9/2025 5:37:55 PMSometimes I feel like I picked the wrong game to fall in love with. When I started playing in earnest it was because I loved the tight combat and responsive controls, Destiny 2's gameplay just feels fast and fluid in a way that others still struggle to match. Then I get deeper into the game and there's all this platforming and puzzle solving and it's like before you kill the ancient wyrm god you have to do five Sudoku puzzles and a level out of Mario map maker. They hide the puzzles behind the fun combat and build crafting, like a birthday cake full of icing and broccoli. This is just a rant, I mostly don't participate in the platforming and puzzle solving parts of the game, I miss out on a lot, but I've got Strikes and Onslaught usually, so that's nice.

My plan was to wait for Kakis to tell me how to do it. I use my brain enough at work, I just want to come home and punch fat Cabal lol.
-
Came here to see if it was just me. Room after room after room, choose the right door/path or die. F off man, I have guns and grenades just let me kill stuff 🤬
-
There are rectangular lights in the hallways for the correct path. I had to look it up I was getting really pissed. The stupid slide after the reactor room is what has ended two Ultimate runs. Trying to shoot the nodes while accelerating isn't easy. I highly doubt they play test anything anymore. I will have to lower the level and get crap rewards so that I have enough lives to get past the damn slide. I feel your pain.
-
Stupid mechanics. Short. Forgettable. Won't be running it again. Garbage mission.
-
Edited by djesimm: 10/8/2025 6:42:24 AMI kept dying on the slide, until I forced myself not to aim down sights -reticle too bouncy.
-
It's just like the outbreak mission when it first came out. Or any exotic mission you just need to wait until videos are posted practice it.. Just remember there was a time when the doctrine dungeon was the hardest content but once you watched videos and you practice it became very easy. I do agree that when bungie makes content where it focuses on puzles it does become extremely boring and repetitive to a point where people just want to complete it once and to never come back...
-
The incline with arc barriers that need shot out was my bail point. I'm not against the puzzle & mechanic & jumping stuff, but it's also not for me. I'm the other side of 50 and I don't play for the challenge, more for the combat flow & story. TBF tho, my drive for the game in general is waning at an advanced rate, so I may not have the best outlook on things. It is unlike me not to want to finish it at least once tho. This is the first exotic mission I checked out on.
-
I had no issue with them, kinda sounds like a skill issue
-
You’re joking right? It might just be the easiest exotic mission we have ever had.
-
So...... you must not like any of the exotic missions if you hate a small puzzle that much?
-
You can escape each single trap before it springs. You didn't notice? Well, that one's on you then. After three runs you will have memorised the way anyway. Just like we did in previous activities.....
All the traps to intentionally kill you.
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 Who would have thonk!
-
Hm what? A dangerous SIVA made facility with dangerous traps? How dare they!
-
"Traps intentionnaly kills you" Yes...that is litteraly the definition of a trap ? I mean for you a traps is an obvious death pit with signs telling you "its a trap !" ?

This whole post is just sad. If you just want to shoot enemies that don’t shoot back, just go to the shooting range.
-
nah, the mission was super simple. if you didnt like that traps i imagine grasp may have ruined your night if/when you tried that the first time too. lol my complaint is it being as short as it is for the amount of time that it has been in development. beautiful mission as are all the exotic missions in the game imo EXCEPT the one for barrow dyad, that was just a damn joke.
-
You saying the game is idiotic when it clearly shows you which doors are traps is some hilarious irony. This forums loves to cry about non existent issues when there are soooo many valid complaints to have with the game.
-
Next we will be crying about all the enemies intentionally shooting at you to try and kill you
-
The trap doors were annoying, yes. The 3 room puzzle codes, tedious. The level design, superb! It’s like hacking into and destroying a parasitic data center.
-
Guessing you missed out in the 30th dungeon. Traps have always been a thing. This is a bad post.
-
Grow up and learn how to enjoy the game for once
-
The thing is stupid easy, take like 15 minutes tops once you get the hang of it.
