Anyone else doing more crucible now?
It seems the easiest to get in and out of with better rewards.
The PvE is not interesting to me.
Or is just me?
Crucible was the last thing i did when PvE was more enjoyable for me.
If bungie made it so people like me would play crucible more, GG bungie, GG.

Do a few solo ops. Drink beer. Get bored with solo ops. Do Crucible whilst slightly inebriated. Results.

Yep, it’s all I do. Honestly, I almost hate to say it, but crucible control is not that bad now. I like grinding the tiered amor with armor bonuses that are actually useful in crucible. it’s nice to have some rare drops of crucible relevant weapons again to spice things up. (Macro tool and minitool). The meta is pretty varied and the outlier protection sbmm is a good compromise. my only complaint is the laggy lobbies. I am not at all interested in grinding lost sectors with bizarre modifiers, so I can play more lost sectors with even more bizarre modifiers. It’s nice that I can just play casual crucible 6’s and reap most of the rewards the game offers.

The lack of good matchmaking activities in the problem. 10 negative modifiers is just not fun.

Once you get over 400 it’s more consistent rewards - which is kinda crazy.

2 RepliesYes, but it's getting worse. At this point I recognize most names in the lobbies. I know what those people like to use. I know when to groan with anguish when yet another 200 Melee glaive abuser or Final Warning diddler enters the fray. And lobby balancing makes sure that I have a horrid time 4 matches out of 5. And I have to tryhard every time to qualify for better drops. And I'm so very, very tired of tryharding against tryhards who play this game 24/7. So very tired.

I did early on to farm for that HC in comp… but… without prestige levels and such I don’t have any clue outside of light level to indicate anything

I check the portal for a matchmaking activities I might like playing again then right after go straight to PVP since I don't have to deal with all the modifiers. I just want to PLAY lol

Yeah I play PVP, when I'm not getting error codes out of a match, disconnected etc. not to mention all the lagging and ghost bullets. PVP is a nightmare

Lagging and cheating are the worst I've ever seen in PVP. I am a PVP main but playing much less

2 RepliesOnly because the -40 delta in fireteam ops is burning me out. Once it goes down to -30 I’ll probably play more pve. Just wish quickplay went up to highest difficulty so we can have more variety.

Playing Crucible more than ever! You get better drops in less time than anywhere else. Not the best Crucible player but my time is limited.

The entire portal grade system is going to have to be overhauled because you only have to complete a long boring task and get rewarded with nothing ONE TIME to make you lose all interest in the "choose your own adventure" method of quest construction. I should be able to click on a certain level "grandmaster" or "ultimate" and the game should add whatever modifiers are necessary to give me an appropriate level of loot upon completion. I can click on "modifiers" and make a couple quick loadout changes. That's as much work as I'm interested in doing. BTW "power delta" is a phrase that never should have been used in any communication with the retail public, let alone actually appearing in game. The fact that people at this company didn't understand this intuitively shows how bad they are at what they do.

Yes. Either feel cheated by Bungie being forced to play high power deltas and excessive mods or feel cheated in PvP with known try hards and mods. At least with PvP play though is quick and rewards always drop at light level or higher. PvE in the past no matter the game mode would drop at least at player light level. Now you must play portal with the deltas to get at least light level drops. Everything else gets you nothing. So disappointed and frustrated growling yes.

I personally appreciate the slow down in PvE activity that means I have more time to PvP. Reminds me of Destiny all them years ago, logging and getting raids/NF's etc done in time for trials for the weekend and PvP shenanigans the rest of the week.

Yes. I’m very bad too ! I’m only playing to grind up. The thing I don’t understand about it is that on occasion my sight sticks to an opponents head like glue and other times during a stomping I can’t keep it on at all. The weapon just feels useless.

I feel this way. I never played much pvp before and now I finding myself playing trials and competitive because they are more rewarding and they are not K1 logistics.

1 ReplyI just played 99% pvp and reached powelvl 460+.....getting for every fart now tier5 loot...what a joke. Still they -blam!- up pvp bad....especially comp....all modes f2p are full with cheaters.... I gave up any hope on bungie anyway, just trying to enjoy what's left...as long as possible.

Yes, every time I spend too much time in one mode I like to take a break and go back to the other. I agree PvP is good bang for the bucks in term of farming for gear right now.
