Bungie why not both?
The portal isn't a horrible idea on paper but it fails in practice because not everything is in there and we don't always want to be in Grandmaster or higher content.
But it can have a place in the game where you get the new tier gear and guns but isn't the only place to grab power.
Make everything not in the portal drop +2 power and that should solve most of the issues and add the strike playlist back.
We will have more content to run more chill things to run and everything will be a benefit to run.

6 RepliesTyson green. Go find his interview where he talks about how he wants to leave all legacy content behind and only focus on new content. And you will understand why they have made the choices they have made. At the end of the day it doesn't give them money to support anything that's not currently being released, and that's where they draw the line of their support.
