Oh the irony.

You know with the release of Destiny 1 and even during its beta stages, the reality was that the story was non-existent. It just did not f****** exist. They were very few voice lines, there were very few anything. There was no story. Nothing was explained, there really wasn't even any understanding, in fact there was so little explanation, that one character who you don't even learn the name of, says "I don't even have time to explain why I don't have time to explain", and the real kicker is they're a time traveler. We wouldn't even learn their name all the way until beyond the light in Destiny 2. They were the mysterious stranger, for like 7 years. Now how about that game playing Destiny 1? The gameplay in Destiny 1 at first was bad. It wasn't even good. The game point in Destiny 1 was lacking anything to do. The loot system was arguably also pretty egregious. Yet Destiny 1 is hailed as one of the greatest video games ever, yet it spawned an entire franchise that has kept players hooked all the way since 2011, spanning across two different consoles. So how did it do that? Well bungie at the time built a really good sense of community, by showing that they gave a s*** about the player base and by having really good support for the player base. They went out of their way to be good to the player base. What is the current state of Destiny 2? Bungie is going to die because they don't give a f*** about the player base and the only thing they are doing is fighting against the pirate base actively. Sony is about to tighten your leash and you're still fighting against us. Sony will break you down for scrap and sell whatever remains off, because they are in the business of making money, and they will cut things that fail. Concorde was a failure, did they continue to waste money on it like EA did with anthem? No. They refunded everybody, and then they cut everything off. All the people that worked on Concord and everything? They're out of a job right now. The only reason why Sony hasn't already done that, I simply because there is already a player base with the destiny franchise, and Sony wants that player base to spend money, but with us not spending money, you will lose your job. If you don't give a f*** about the community and you don't give a f*** about the quality of your game, that's great, but you have to appease us because you do give a f*** about your money and you do give a f*** about your job, and you're about to have neither pretty soon, and the irony is, it's because you're doing the opposite of what you did in Destiny 1, you're choosing to actively not give a f*** about us and we are actively choosing not to pay you for it.
