Wow really Bungie??? This is ridiculous, common sense goes a long way. Solo ops should not have any kind of mechanic that requires a FIRETEAM member. Do better please for the few remaining 7,000 players before they leave too.

The modifier needs to be reworked. If shields are broken, take away our ability to sprint. Being completely helpless is just outright torture disguised as a video game. The shield increase means nothing in -40 delta activities with 6 other negative modifiers.
-
Bin that mod, its annoying in any game mode. As soon as I see it I back out.
-
Dumbest sht I've ever seen. I experienced this last night. I just turned the damn game off.
-
The volatile shields mod doesn’t REQUIRE a fireteam member to help you out!
-
Just not in soloOps but who thought it would be a great idea to put it in the actual game
-
Yeah this has been around for weeks but yet again Bungie have done nothing to change it. Last time I made a comment about them adding a modifer that encourages you to -blam!- I was censored. Yeah I know it will happened again but then they would rather censor and edit the forums than fix their own game these days.

Edited by Ursine: 10/2/2025 5:11:54 AMIt's definitely a stupid decision. But to try and mitigate it, try using something with attrition orbs so there are plenty on the ground. Walking into one will defuse you. Healing rifts also work if you play Warlock.
-
Yes the mod really shines when combined with haste and having to cover a vex plate or transmat supplies in Skywatch with uber snipers everywhere. It's banner text suggests it shouldn't be in a solo activity but...........yeah.
-
One of the worst debuffs in my opinion. Even when you're with someone else, it's not very fun to be with it.
-
Atrocious modifier in general. That said, even as a warlock I can say that Lorely Splendor on Titan is a direct counter. Its restoration effect and the modifier trigger are the same. So besides a brief flicker into third person it won’t be much different.
-
Using your super takes you out of it. Felt like a Sunsinger like the old days reviving myself
-
Love these wild player count numbers lol. They get more and more egregious anytime someone's feelings get hurt.
-
Seems more like a random selection from a bunch of mods for various matchmade activities than an actual human curating these.

Meat Fountain
Anathema, Judgement, 4 - old
At worst it's neutral (buffs your shield enough that if you went down, you would have died anyway) and at best it's a huge boon (constant healing such as BoW and resto trigger it) -
Edited by Dragokin: 10/2/2025 5:21:45 PMHighly doubt anybody picked anything more than likely all of the mods are on some kind of spinning wheel or dartboard list and a garbage AI just picks a few every day or week It's not curated like it used to be....
-
It's one of the 2 modifiers I avoid. If I see this or Haste, I just don't do the activity. I've been catching up on stuff like the urns and chests on Kepler and my graviton spike catalyst pieces when I see this modifier. That's how much I avoid it. I go do boring stuff.
-
It was my cousin. Sorry
-
Proof there’s ZERO logic behind every decision in the game, Bungie are so -blam!- awful at everything they do lately
-
Everything in the Portal is pointless anyway, at least for the grind. Its monotonous, wasteful and crazy. I dont bother with it anymore and havnt for a while now. I only do an activity for a weapon or armour piece to tick off or Raids and Dungeons to get outstanding loot or chill with friends. Everything else is patrol. The Portal is utterly heartless, soulless in every sense... a waste of time, money and space. Give me a pz with randomers any day.
-
Probably the janitor or maybe somebody from security🤔, most likely picked the wrong mods from the list
-
I was very confused when I started slowing then blowing up. Had no context no understanding what the F was happening. Figured it was another glitch turned the game off and haven't tried again since.

Edited by Pinky: 10/2/2025 1:39:54 PM--blam!-'s at bungie strike again 🤣
-
It’s not just one person it’s a mindset that punishes players while stealing their money and content . Oh and another artist’s artwork. bungie is morally corrupt
-
Its a bugg… but don’t expect fixing tho hahahah
