As a D1 veteran who journeyed all the way through to the end of The Final Shape, I had to step away from the game. Honestly, I'd lost hope in Bungie's direction and the future of the universe I'd spent a decade in. I've just heard the news that the CEO has left, and it's the first spark of hope I've felt for the game in a long time. Seeing the community in such peril and with so much uncertainty about the new DLC model, I'm genuinely torn. Is this leadership change a real sign of a better future? For those of you still in the fight, what are your thoughts? Is it worth returning now, or should I hold off and wait to see if this is truly the beginning of a new, better era for Destiny?

I'll summarize what you'll read and spare you the trouble of waiting: It sucks, you'll hate it, play something else like blah, blah blah.......... Simple, truthful answer: Play the free content and if you like what you see get the expansion; if not, don't buy it, uninstall the game and never look back.
