The game is just stale, no reason to grind power level just to get reset in December and the community is just the absolute worst its ever been, granted i haven't even touched the raid or the epic raid but from what i hear that they are good but the only worthwhile loot is the smg and the crossbow. The portal just feels lifeless and no point in going into the worlds tab unless your bounty prepping. Just really no reason to hop back in each week since there is no weekly story mission that explains what is going on. I also thought that ash and iron would bring tiered exotics but I'm not sure where i heard that. Also thought ash and iron would have more them 1 campaign mission and 3 portal activities but we are getting the iron axe mission soon so maybe that will scratch that itch till renegades. I still loved the edge of fate campaign and its story and hope they cook with renegades and beyond. Not sure what they could do whether that's a fresh reset with d3 or reverting back to pre EOF or just upgrade the engine, I don't know what bungie is going through and my guess is the majority of the destiny community doesn't know what bungie current situation is either. in terms of community all I hear is dead game, destiny is dead, bungie is a terrible company and why even play destiny anymore. Like if you hate the game that much go play something else, there is a lot of other similar games out there and more coming out. hell some of the content creator that make a living from destiny content are taking a break from the game and a common reason that most of them share is that the community is extremely toxic. I am hyped for renegades and the iron axe and will be back for them but until then I'm hella burnt out and tired of hearing the community. just needed somewhere to post this to vent and praying bungie will capture that magic again to drag me back.
