Bungie… You need to just be flat out honest. Tell everyone the truth. You’re severely under staffed and you’re going to keep pushing old content out. We all see it. If not? This is what you need in game to survive… —Things to do outside of grinding armor and guns —Fishing, Clan housing, SRL and more —Abandon the portal —It makes players feel like they’re playing an arcade game and not an open world MMO. —Tie power progression into the campaign in a creative and meaningful way —D1 campaign required players to go do other things to increase their power before going to the next mission. Do that but give it meaning. Not just “need higher power”. Essentially make a world that we live in. A world that has life and what we do changes it or has consequences. —A power grind can be fun but doing it for the sake of needing a way to keep players engaged is why we’re here. —Keep tier’s for armor and weapons. It has made guns, for me at least, feel distinct and rare again. —Either create a new Tier above exotic or remove them from season passes. An exotic should be something we work for, not get handed. —The best weapons, legendary or exotic, should always be placed in the hardest content. If you don’t then people like me who play solo have no reason to try and get into the raid or dungeon. The first Rocket Sidearm in Warlords Ruin for example. I saw that and immediately got in to try and get it. —PvP loot should always be geared towards making people better at PvP. For instance, Riposte, this gun is meh in PvE but is a monster in PvP. I actually played rank just to get it and I never play rank. —D1 and early D2 made me feel like I was a guardian in a world and had a purpose. Now my character is just a dude who hops into old content for no reason other than weapons and armor for no reason. Now this is my experience and I don’t say I speak for anyone. I just know you don’t have the bodies to do all of this. Which is why I want you to admit your current state and tell everyone the truth. You’re either holding on or burning through prior commitments and then eventually putting it into what D1 is now. Honesty can salvage. Lies will burn it all down. Make the right choice… PS: I know there’s way more to address, but I just have other stuff to do lol.
