I am a destiny beta vet, but I will tell you, the destiny 2 experience currently is agonizing. I'm the sort of destiny 1 player who never got an exotic, barely soloed Kings fall raid (4th ever to do it on PS3), barely got a sword, and never understood what the hell they were doing at any point of the game. As a destiny 2 player? I have almost every exotic, I've done almost every build, I know all the womble combos, INS and OUTS, of destiny 2, everything, platinumed the game, know the entirety of story and lore, heard every voice like hundreds of times, etc. I liked exploring europa, I liked avenging cayde, I liked the PVP and seasonals events during the crappy light fall dlc, I've played all the different metas, I liked the final shape dlc, there's all these amazing pieces of destiny 2 that I like, but as a whole it's been not great, not even good, as a whole, destiny 2 has been STRESSFUL. Going back and playing destiny 1? I LOVED EVERYTHING, not "liked", *loved*, I realized that I love destiny 1 as a whole, and only liked parts of destiny 2, and the only thing that felt missing, was other players. If anyone wants to go back and just relive glory days, or whatever, (you don't need an excuse to have fun), here I am, wanting to do it.
