Now that this race has ended (well, a while ago)... Bungie listen.
This is just an idea, but a valid one to give World First a representation of what they did, and separate them from others completing the same activity.
World First needs, like they actually need to have an emblem that separates them from 48Hrs.
They gotta be the ONLY 6 that really rocks an emblem that no one else can rock. WHY? cause they were FIRST <=== this needs to be given a meaning.
It's not fair for them to be the ones being FIRST and still be the ones wearing the same emblem as the others.
So, what am I thinking here?
Hold the emblems drops on completion..
WORLD FIRST = will get access to the emblem 24h later, after you secure that they really were first.
________________
Second places (which are the ones getting it after the WORLD FIRST) = will get access to an emblem dedicated on 48hrs, as they are actually all second place on completing the raid.
________________
Normal completions get the normal emblem.
This is how you should really honor the time and completion on the World First.
Yeah, the belt is ok, but letting 48hrs flex the same emblem as First, I think, is... is not fair.
Side note: I don't raid that much tbh, but it really stings seeing not WF players wearing the same emblem as if they did.
Give WORLD FIRST an emblem that will make them really flex their achievement, and not be equal to 48ts.
Just saying.. this is how the emblem distribution should have been
