Destiny has been a unique and fun game to play until he who cannot be named took over. It became a chore and grind which took the fun out of it. That is the long story short. The other reason is that pvp changed so much and they split up players into so many pools when they've had record low numbers. It's funny that they're trying to protect new players and exiling everyone else.
And these ban waves are hilarious. They don't have enough workers to monitor continuously because they laid off the majority of the security team so they do these ban waves instead. I know it's not the actual workers fault, it's Bungie's, or Sony's, or whoever is taking the majority of the profit now that they laid so many people off. If you've been happy since not playing then why are you here? Why do people that ''claim'' they've stopped playing always have to announce that they've stopped playing as if they are seeking validation. Are you here to hear other players say you've made a good choice so you can feel good about your decisions? Also what is up with you weak -blam!- people treating Destiny 2 like it's an addiction sucking up all your joy and you can't seem to get away from it? I've been playing Destiny since it came out in 2014 and now we're 11 years further. Not once has this game taken any happiness out of me. It's not a drug, it's not an addiction. Stop acting like it is.
