I just watched this movie, on Hulu for anyone interested in seeing it, and it is one of the most staggeringly bleak films about a possible future for humanity I think I've seen. There's nothing apocalyptic like nuclear war or anything of that sort depicted but it still has such a troubling story that it actually made me despair for humanity. I'd still recommend it, but I'd also suggest having something upbeat to watch afterward as a mental palate cleanser if that makes any sense.
