Projectile Hit Registration Bug. (Since The Final Shape)
Currently MOST types of projectile abilities/weapons have a severe delayed hit registration. This bug was first introduced since The Final Shape, it doesn't happen 100% of the time but is very-very common. Most notably on abilities and weapons listed in the following; Bow, Glaive, Incinerator Snap, Weighted Throwing Knife, Lightweight Knife, and many more.
Although this may seem somewhat of a minor bug, it affects engagements greatly to the point where the user experiencing this issue will often caught off guard and will lose or trade in engagements they otherwise would've won. The outcome of engagements become very dependant on this bug especially when the opponent is using heal effects that could survive finishing blows they otherwise wouldn't survive - most commonly from the One-Eyed Mask exotic.
This also results inconsistency when attempting to "combo" with these projectiles. For example, If you have a bow with Swashbuckler and perform a headshot into a melee, it would sometime register the arrow soo slow that it will finish the kill using the delayed damage from the bow instead of the melee despite bows traveling at a hitscan speed.
This also leads to misconception of players being influenced by "lag". Although lag can further amplify this effect this bug is not caused by latency but has the same effect for AOE based abilities. Incinerator Snap and Pocket Singularity are the best example of this where the projectile can sometimes appear to hit the target but can sometimes deal significantly deal less damage or even no damage at all due to the delayed damage. One last thing, glaives are very popular at the moment due to their ability to perform a 2 hit melee kill with over 190 melee stat, however the projectile aspect of the weapon can be very inconsistent ever since the glaive projectile tracking rework and even if you manage to hit the target, it will sometimes take about 2-3 seconds to register the shot. The delay is much more apparent when shooting the weapon right before death and can have up to a 4-5 seconds delay. The same thing can be done using a bow.
Other less common weapons effected by this bug (not to an equal degree): Support Frame Auto Rifle, Osteo Striga, Quire of One (Hip-Fire), Lightning Rod (Trinity Ghoul Exotic Perk), etc.
It's also worth mentioning that AOE weapons such as grenade launchers and rocket launchers do not share this issue but AOE based abilities do have this issue (sometimes).
