Anyone else notice the HUGE discrepancy between the DPS you get in the shooting range and your numbers in combat? Even with the same set up of your guardian? Given there will be some differences between shooting gallery and battle but a difference of over 175%? You can get, say 680, in the shooting range and get only 26 for the same shot, in combat on a RED BAR/minor enemy with no shield! Even with your artifact set up properly.... All Bungie has done is screw with the DPS numbers in battle to increase "difficulty" by the cheapest most manipulative way ever.......I know its a big request but could Bungie please update the shooting range to actually provide trustworthy data when you change the DPS numbers in combat?

Edited by WinterSolstice: 9/28/2025 7:48:34 PMIf you mean the board on the back yeah it's bugged. If not it's because the shooting range defaults to the highest difficulty you can play. So if you can play GM even 80 under it'll put you into the GM difficulty instead. Edit: Also weapons need to be at light. Even if you're 350 if you're gun is like 10 it's gonna do like 1/100th the normal damage. At least from what I've seen.
