This post is purely out of concern for the game’s well being and future, there’s a lot so better sit down if you care enough to read this. Coming from year 1 d1 to now and i can’t say I understand some of the hard work put into the game but there’s currently a lot more wrong with the game than I’d prefer to admit, I absolutely love this game but it feels more and more like a chore to hop on grind away at stuff. The power reset isn’t a bad idea but my main issue with it is that it feels like to get up to the max power I have to use the same build for almost the entire season because it’s too costly to bring your other gear up to match and that is definitely not fun. I understand you’re making power grind easier but you NEED to do something about the unstable cores resource economy. Get more for dismantling gear instead of 700 a dismantle or decrease the cost of infusing items especially if the item isn’t close to your highest gear or something please….Thats just one of the problems you guys have and I’m sure you’re seeing plenty of them given the predicament you’re in. Not only do the constant bugs need fixed, the PvP sandbox/matchmakimg needs some serious adjusting especially trials(again), the overall portal experience feels like a chore, the soft sunsetting of all the old activity’s weapons and armor really hurts, featured exotics shouldn’t exist since it literally denies people who like to make unique builds the right to use said unique builds even if they’re metah or not, eververse keeping ALL the cool and unique ornaments and only leaving 3 sets for free(let’s be honest the reskins don’t count), and the day one race for raids and dungeons needs to balanced enough to still have be challenge but not to where only 10 or so legitimate teams beat compared to CHEATERS. The story hasn’t really failed me imo since lightfall(echoes was hard to stay interested in but it was close) and the gear tier system is fine, just wish someday we could get that for the rest of our hard earned weapons and armor before EoF…..At the end of the day all I’m asking is that we see progress for some consistently good updates/content. Story obviously needs to kill it as well as balancing out activities and reasons to grind the game while still having a fun. Given the previous major expansions we expect and deserve better than some of the stuff we’ve received. I understand EoF was the first stepping stone of the series and the major changes were made and prioritized over others, on the other hand Renegades has me hyped but it NEEDS to bring in new and returning players or I fear this game will never return to its former glory within the top 20 or so games out there. Idk how much longer I’ll be able to tolerate the slip ups, i love the this game but I’m getting really tired of all the negativity surrounding it inside and outside. It’s toxic like a virus. Please learn from these set backs. Bring back the fun and the good incentives that myself and so many others have experienced. We know you’re capable, that’s why we’re critiquing you so hard. Because we care, much love and support!
