What do you think would happen? Players will have to buy a new game (which many have said they'd never do again), would likely have to start over from scratch (that'll go over well), and then the same complaints would begin anew because that's what happens here. That doesn't even touch on the wait for an entirely new game and patience isn't a virtue with people here, either.

Not me. It either ends up a d2 clone with 1/10th the content (And with the current ceo we'll get the portal system transferred over) or it ends up a "new" game like d2 first did that ends up hated because everyone preferred the original gameplay so they end up changing it later only to get praised for it. Edit: Also if the 2nd one happens we again get 1/10th the content.
