Personally… I love a good balance of gunplay and space magic, something like 60:40 because I prefer gunplay to be slightly dominant. A fun game mode that leans into tactical thinking. Elimination is my favourite, but I also like objective modes such as Countdown, Rift and Control. Then, a steady stream of interesting maps to learn. You can spend countless hours improving map knowledge, but I always have the most fun when there’s a mix of maps I know well, maps I’m getting to grips with and maps that are brand new. The cherry on top is when there’s some good loot to earn. That's just me though. I have no idea what the majority of players want from Destiny PvP. There are many conflicting ideas depending on the type of player.
