Not sure if this is the best place for this but I don't have social media so here goes: the official stream (evanf1997's twitch channel), endorsed by Bungie to watch the Epic Raid race, is basically unwatchable.
It's literally 30-50% ads. If Bungie wants the race to be a viewer-focused experience, as indicated by the rules for streaming clears and not hiding screens, how can this be acceptable? Compared to other events, like the Dota 2 International, the quality of the viewing experience is stark. I've watched every race since I started playing with Witch Queen, and I'm turning this one off, even though I'm both invested and still an active player.
I'm really disappointed; I'd been looking forward to watching this race for weeks.

The streamers can pick how often ads appear on their streams... Saltagreppo literally chose the maximum, highest frequently of ads. In previous races, players would blur or black-out their screens to prevent other teams from scouting/spying on their progress & getting an advantage... Well, Bungie made a new rule that limits the blurring, so Salt purposely to chose to have as many ads as possible, constantly interrupting the stream, so that any scouts would get as little info as possible. Its kinda genius.

It’s hilarious seeing everytime a team gets close to something whether it’s beating a boss or mechanic, the stream cuts straight to 8 ads in a row 😭💀
