Hello Bungie Team,
I suffer from arthritis, and holding down the sprint button for long periods is painful.
An auto-sprint option would greatly improve accessibility, letting me and other players with similar conditions enjoy Destiny 2 without pain.Console
game Xbox/PlayStation.
Thank you for considering this request.

Edited by TwigTwig: 9/29/2025 10:27:34 AMYou're doing something wrong. Sprint on console is toggle. Click L3 once, release and then just hold forward and you'll continue sprinting.

I hope this time they will listen to someone as I requested this years before. (Fingers crossed)

Does "toggle sprint" do what you're looking for? I'm on PC and it's in the keyboard/mouse list.

Probably a good idea. As a short term fix, I’d suggest changing your sprint setting from hold to toggle/press. I usually bind it to RS, but that’s because I played a lot of older CoDs. This probably wouldn’t fix it permanently, but it’s not a bad stopgap

I agree and is one of the main factors that breaks controllers due to constantly tapping L3 I rather have this feature then all weapons being permanent automatic weapons
-
While I’ll never use this I am surprised that it’s not currently in the game since they had an entire team for this kind of thing

Destiny is like 90% running from objective to objective. PLEASE ADD THIS -
100% Some days, I play in patrol zones just because my hands hurt, and there's no sprinting or driving required in there.
