GM Conquest: Spire | Does Bungie playtest top difficulty?

I would love a response to this question: Does anyone at Bungie play test top difficulty content (specifically GM Conquest: Savathun Spire) with all these terrible challenge modifiers at all? I mean... Some of the enemies are nearly immortal, all 3 guardians can literally spend over a braindead minute just firing, non stop at these boring bullet sponges. Does anyone play this crap and feel entertained or good at all? Literally spending 40 minutes on this damn mission to then just fail the mission. I liked grandmasters when enemies weren't these absurd bullet sponges. Even a stupid thrall takes almost an entire mag of bullets to take down or more, even using top damage option weapons.

 • Everything after about power level 300 feels like it was designed on paper and never tested end to end. Nobody ever went to check if the game was actually fun to play. I don't even mind content that difficult, so long as it drops rewards worth running it for. But right now, once you hit 300, everything that drops anything you could use as an upgrade just gets to be more and more of a slog to play, and you get peanuts for it. Who thought players would want to deal with so many modifiers ghost can't even display them all just to get one or two drops that are one or two points higher than their current average? And to do that for 200 ding dang power levels?
