I just got a notification that Someone has been granted permission to access my bungie account on my behalf. I DID NOT grant ANYONE access to anything! How do I secure my account before it's lost to a hacker?!

Hey there, did you recently start using any 3rd party site like DIM, D2ArmorPicker, Bray.Tech, Bungie Store, etc? The permission notifications usually come from those, not that you've given a person access to something. The only way for someone else to do this, would be for them to be logged into your accounts, do you have 2FA set up on your platform accounts? If you go to Settings, Account Linking, and scroll down to 'Authorized Applications', there is a timestamped list of apps that have been granted access to your account, is there something recent there, is it something familiar?

Edited by viiTactiiCZz: 9/24/2025 12:01:33 AMAre you sure the notification wasn't for an app/website you authorised into such as DIM? as far as I know Bungie do not send out sign in notifications, but they do send a notification saying you've authorised an app/website. Check if it was an app/website by going to https://www.bungie.net/7/en/User/Account/AccountLinking then scrolling down, they're ordered by approved date so the top entry should be today/date of the notification. If it wasn't an app/website you authorised then the only way for someone to sign into your Bungie.net account is by using your platform accounts. Change passwords, make sure 2FA is enabled, and contact your platforms support team to see if they can forcibly logout all devices.
