For anyone who's watched the original series, I have some questions:
1. At the end of the intro for the show, the detectives and DAs are seen walking down a hall, down the steps of the courthouse, wherever, towards the camera having a conversation. Am I alone in wondering what they're talking about? Are they in character and talking about cases or are the actors just strolling along chatting about random things in their personal lives?
2. Some actors have multiple rolls on the show; are we supposed to pretend we didn't notice? For example, very earlier in season 2 Jerry Orbach plays a defense attorney in a case only to return in season 3 as Detective Lennie Briscoe. It's not as though he was a walk-on or an unknown actor; we're talking about Jerry Orbach, one of the longer-running cast members of the show. Am I alone in thinking that breaks any sort of continuity for the show?
Anyway, just a few thoughts I had recently and I'm curious if anyone else has noticed these things.

Returning actors is very common for law and order. Especially SVU. In one season, an actress plays a grapist, and in the next season, same actress plays THE FRIKKIN ADA. 💀
